This is the last issue of my first year as Editor of the Journal. It has been quite a year and the next promises to be just as interesting and exciting. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the many people who make this Journal possible. First, I would like to express a hearty thanks to those of you who submit your work for publication consideration and peer review. Your contributions to the profession are much appreciated. We hope that we have provided guidance for authors, and been instructive to those who have not had their work accepted. To those who have not been successful, I would urge you not to give up, but to use the feedback and give it another go. I would also like to send a huge thanks to those of you who have served as reviewers this year, many of whom are listed each issue in the Journal. Your reviews have been detailed, scholarly, and supportive—a tone I hope continues throughout my term.
